Welcome to Harmon's Huddle!
This site is designed for the Rolling Green 2 and 3rd grade students and their families.
My name is Renee Harmon and I will be your child's teacher while Mrs. Calfe is on maternity leave.
I am a mother, a wife, an educator and a strong advocate for students. I am a mother of three boys: Nicholas (8), Brayden (5) and Charlie (1). I have an active household!
I have been an educator for more than 15 years and have taught all grades from pre-K through 6th grade. I have been an assistant principal, a literacy leader, and an educational consultant. I believe that children will lead us through the 21st Century with strong leadership and our future is BRIGHT! In our classroom I will work to ensure students have reading, writing, speaking, and mathematics skills. In addition I believe strongly that critical thinking, problem solving, team work, self evaluation and goal setting are among critical life skills that we will use on a daily basis. My hope is that through this school year that students develop or maintain a passion for learning.
